PR and Media Executive

ABTA is recruiting for a PR and Media Executive to join the Brand and Business Development department on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within ABTA’s Communications team, as part of the busy press office and digital content delivery. The role will involve media relations – reactive and proactive, campaigns support and crisis management.

The Executive will also provide insights and advice, keeping up to date with the latest tools to analyse media coverage, social media presence and website analytics (SEO, Google Analytics). 

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Excellent written skills
  • Experience working with journalists and the media
  • Good eye for a story and judgement of what will work for the media
  • Excellent knowledge of/experience in using tools to analyse social media and website content
  • Ability to adapt to both consumer and trade audiences
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Team player willing to adapt to fast paced environment and offer high quality team support.

Grants and Marketing Executive

ABTA’s charity Lifeline is recruiting for a Grants & Marketing Executive to join ABTA Lifeline on a full time permanent contract.

An exciting opportunity to join ABTA Lifeline, ABTA’s charity, helping current and post colleagues in the travel community that are suffering real financial hardship caused by life changing medical conditions, bereavement, disability, domestic violence and financial crisis.

The Grants and Marketing Executive will seek to increase the level of awareness, fundraising and applications to ABTA Lifeline through the use of social media, marketing and events. The Grants & Marketing Executive will provide assistance and support to the Director of ABTA Lifeline in all aspects of the general administration of applications for help and the charity’s operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least one years’ experience working in marketing, communications or event management, with an understanding of charitable organisations and good educational qualifications. They will be an enthusiastic individual who is looking for an opportunity to further their career. Strong communication skills with a confident personality are key to this role.
