ABTA's free-to-attend meeting will provide guidance and support for Members on how to implement the new Package Travel Regulations.
This meeting will be your last chance to receive insightful information from ABTA’s experts before the implementation date of 1 July 2018.
In this short session, ABTA will provide an update on key issues such as the definition of Linked Travel Arrangements, the requirements and criteria for a general agreement exemption, bonding and financial protection changes and cross EU sales.
Speakers from ABTA’s legal and financial protection teams will present the range of technical support on offer to Members including:
- Changes to the Code of Conduct
- Model booking conditions
- Guidance documents.
There will also be an opportunity to discuss some of the detail/recommendations in the ATOL consultation.
Attendance is restricted to ABTA Members and Partners only. Pre-registration is essential. Refreshments will be provided.
This free-to-attend meeting will take place from 14:00–15:00, following ABTA's flagship Travel Matters event. ABTA Members and Partners can register for Travel Matters at a discounted rate. Non-Members are welcome to attend.
