Avro Ltd (resigned on 30 June 2017) – ATOL 1939

We regret to inform you that Avro Ltd has ceased trading.

Avro Ltd trading as Avro Car Hire, Avro Elite, Avro Gatwick, Avro Manchester, Avro North, Avro Scheduled, Avro South, Avro Worldwide and Monarch Charter Flights was a Member of ABTA until 30 June 2017 when it resigned from membership. We will need to give you some specific advice depending on the type of booking you had made with Avro Ltd. 

To enable us to help you and provide the most accurate information on what you will need to do please read the following information.

Package with flights included
If your booking included flights, then you will need to contact the Civil Aviation Authority as your booking should be protected under their ATOL scheme.  For further advice on how to claim from ATOL please click here.

Your ATOL Certificate will say ’Package Sale’ in the bottom right hand corner.

Accommodation only
‘Accommodation-only’ – this is when you have booked accommodation such as a hotel, villa or apartment on its own, with no other services (e.g. a flight).

If you have an ‘accommodation-only’ booking with Avro Ltd you should be able to claim through your credit card company or bank if you paid by credit or debit card. Avro Ltd is not obliged by law to protect its sales of accommodation-only bookings and did not protect these bookings. Your credit card company or bank may ask you for a referral letter from ABTA, so to help you with your claim, you can download a letter on the following links. If all or part of your payment was made using a credit card please click here, if you paid by debit card please click here.
